Job Description

A progressive RSL is seeking an experienced Floating Support Worker to help vulnerable tenants with their support needs.
These individuals have a mixture of mental health issues, homelessness and dual diagnosis.

You will support these clients who are currently housed in self-contained accommodation, to improve their quality of life and sustain their tenancies. You will meet with your clients for support planning and review sessions, helping them to identify issues and solutions to promote greater living independence. You will work within the Supporting People framework whilst assessing and referring clients to key services which best suits their needs and advise on housing benefits and welfare matters. In this capacity you will be in regular contact with external and internal agencies to maximise client support services and resources.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of working with vulnerable client groups, including mental health clients and alcohol/drug misuse. Experience of floating support is an advantage and knowledge of the Supporting People initiative is essential. A current CRB disclosure is essential for this role.
