Job Description

A Housing Association is seeking a Retirement Housing Officer to carry out a range of tasks to ensure the wellbeing of the tenants and to promote their independence.

Undertaking a range of housing management duties, you will ensure daily contact will all tenants in the retirement scheme, identify their individual needs and be aware of any changes in their circumstances – liaising with the relevant authorities (such as GPs) when required. Furthermore, you will assist tenants with any enquiries regarding rent payment or benefits and ensure they receive the necessary support.

To apply for this position you should have experience of working with older people in a supported housing environment, and preferably experience within Retirement Housing. Use of a car is required for this role and also a current CRB disclosure. The post duration is initially for three months.
