Job Description

A specialist Housing Association is seeking a Female* Refuge Worker to provide a high quality professional service to women and their children living in refuges.

You will work within the requirements of the Supporting People Framework, assessing both the practical and emotional needs of residents and the benefit requirements of women escaping domestic violence. You will show new arrivals around the premises, help settle them into accommodation and sign them up on the residents’ licence agreement. Furthermore you will provide general counselling and support to residents within a structured key working relationship that will be central to this post.

To apply for this role you must have experience of working within a supported housing environment with vulnerable clients, preferably women who have experienced domestic violence. A current enhanced CRB check is essential for this position.
